| The
New Millennium Gallery is centrally located opposite the Guildhall /Tourist
Information Centre and is the largest privatley owned gallery in St Ives.
Opened in 1996 the gallery in the centre of the town is now a flourishing
artspace existing on three floors. The Gallery is unique in the context of St Ives in that it is the only private space that is large enough to put on major one-person shows. A large light space on the ground floor is devoted to a changing display of gallery artists work. The gallery is a product of twenty years of collecting which has led to a love of highly abstract and innovative contemporary art work. David Falconer the director of the gallery carefully selects the Artist's to be shown, many of which he has collected and has established firm friendships and understandings of their work. |
